Janushoved consists of 3 UV aluminium prints, that are connected but also separate works. The prints are made from homemade software in inner conflict. One part creates, one part categorizes and the images are created anew depending on the category. The lines showcase the confidence of the algorithm in it's guesses on category. I named the program Janus after the twoheaded god for transitions and duality in roman mythology. Janus represents one gaze looking at the future and one gaze looking at the past. In the same way the program is in inner conflict. A vibrating Janus head in a mess og image material and ambivalent categories.
